The Mission Software

Know the site.
Trust the evidence.

Sahtune is mission software that turns uncrewed sensing into explainable, evidence-backed information for human operators.

Concept visual. Sahtune platform.
Kanatir Kinetics

Hardware is the evidence. Software is the thesis.

Kanatir builds uncrewed aircraft and the mission software that turns their sensing into information an operator can review, trust, and release.

Carrier-agnostic by design Sahtune can run on KX carriers, partner airframes, masts, towers, and sensors a customer already owns.
From Mission To Platform

Sahtune enters when sensing is no longer enough.

Defence sites, public-safety operations, borders, ports, energy assets, and mining sites already produce fragmented observations. Sahtune is the mission operating layer that turns those inputs into explainable information a human operator can review.

Sahtune Platform

Mission software above the sensing stack.

Imagery, signals, telemetry, reports, KX platforms, fixed masts, and partner systems route into one software layer. The capabilities split the work, then converge into mission objects that carry evidence, uncertainty, and review state.

EO / IR imagery Signals Telemetry Reports KX platforms Partner systems

Persistent Site Awareness

Maintains carrier-agnostic bounded-site watch over facilities, corridors, approaches, and areas of interest.

Inputs Mast, tower, KX platform, or partner carrier feeds.
AI assists Change detection, motion priority, site summaries.
Output Tracks, site changes, uncertainty, review tasks.

Correlation

Associates observations across sensor classes so one event is not shown as five disconnected facts.

Inputs Imagery, signals, telemetry, reports, source history.
AI assists Association scoring, conflict detection, anomaly flags.
Output Bounded-confidence track with source contribution.

Governed Fusion

Attaches provenance, policy state, data labels, audit evidence, masking support, and release review.

Inputs Source metadata, labels, policy rules, review state.
AI assists Evidence summaries, label suggestions, review triage.
Output Review-ready evidence package and audit record.

Operator Workspace

Gives the human operator a mission picture with sources, uncertainty, AI assistance, and decisions kept visible.

Inputs Fused mission objects, evidence chain, review queue.
AI assists Explains what changed and why review is needed.
Output Human-reviewed operational understanding.

Integration Kit

Connects third-party sensors, government feeds, prime-contractor systems, and infrastructure data.

Inputs Feeds, adapters, schemas, partner system contracts.
AI assists Schema mapping suggestions and adapter diagnostics.
Output Normalized Sahtune mission objects.
Human OperatorReceives what changed, why it matters, which sources contributed, what remains uncertain, and which action requires review.

Mission Landscapes

Canada-first, global-ready mission landscapes.

Sahtune starts with defence and government security missions for Canada. The same platform thesis can later be assessed for lawful allied and broader global deployments where support, export, privacy, and operating conditions are validated.

Persistent Site Awareness NAMI Concept

Carrier-agnostic watch over bounded sites.

Persistent Site Awareness is a Sahtune capability for unbroken watch over a bounded site. Its demanding narrow-area workload is referred to internally as NAMI, narrow-area motion imagery, the deliberate inversion of wide-area surveillance. The carrier can be a mast, tower, KX platform, or partner carrier. Sahtune emits tracks, changes, uncertainty, provenance, and review tasks. Raw imagery is not downlinked by default.

Persistent Site Awareness is multi-carrier. A single site can be held by several carriers in rotation so watch stays unbroken, and the same capability can watch more than one bounded site at once. AI assists the operator in planning coverage: proposing rotations, flagging a forming gap, and recommending handoff timing. The operator approves the plan. Carriers hold the sites. Nothing tasks itself.

Step 01A mast, tower, KX platform, or partner carrier observes the site continuously.
Step 02The bounded site is resolved into observations, with source quality recorded for each.
Step 03Tracks, site changes, source quality, and uncertainty are formed and attributed.
Step 04Sahtune sends explainable mission objects to the operator for review.

KX Platforms

Kanatir builds its own carriers. Sahtune runs on any carrier.

A family of uncrewed carriers on one shared integration core, built so the software is exercised against hardware, power and timing that actually exist.

Carrier-agnostic

Sahtune runs on masts, towers, sensors you already own, partner airframes, and KX. Carrier and software are separate decisions.

Concept
KX Integration Core

One integration core across every carrier.

What stops mission software from becoming airframe-specific. The same discipline applies to carriers Kanatir did not build.

Payload interfaceMechanical mount, module identity, configuration record and health reporting.
PowerIsolated rails, switched and current-limited payload supply, monitored and reported.
Time sourceDisciplined time with a quality state carried on every observation.
Vehicle stateFlight state, link state and failsafe state surfaced to the operator.
Build recordSerials, versions and configuration captured per article and per mission.
Test evidenceBench, ground and flight results retained with their status label.

What leaves the carrier.

A Sahtune-equipped carrier returns reviewed information, not a raw feed.
ObservationsTracks and site changes, with the source quality that produced them.
UncertaintyWhat the system is confident about, and what it is not.
ProvenanceWhich sources contributed, and under what policy state.
Review stateWhat still requires a human decision before anything is released.

Capability Interfaces

See the five capabilities working, on one operator shell.

The platform overview above describes the chain. The operational console shows it running: seven screens, one shared operator shell, following a single event from sensing through a governed decision. Every screen uses representative data on a concept build.

Showcase Video

One mission, followed from sensing to a governed decision.

A single event at a Canadian coastal defence-energy site, tracked through a degraded carrier handoff. The same scenario runs through the operational console, so the video and the interface tell one story.
