Privacy Policy

Kanatir Kinetics Inc. collects personal information through this website only when you choose to send it to us. This policy explains what we collect, why, where it goes, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

1. Who is accountable

John Oladunjoye is the individual designated as accountable for Kanatir Kinetics Inc.'s compliance with this policy and with applicable privacy legislation, including the role of Privacy Officer for the purposes of Quebec's Law 25. Enquiries, requests and complaints may be directed to [email protected].

2. What we collect

When you submit the enquiry form on this site we collect the name, email address, organization if you provide one, enquiry category, and the content of your message. When you submit the careers form we collect the same fields, and any employment background you choose to include in your message.

We collect nothing else. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, uses no tracking pixels, and does not build a profile of your visit. Our web host may keep standard server logs for security and operational purposes; we do not use them to identify individuals.

3. Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, to route it to the right person, and to keep a record of the correspondence. Expressions of interest in employment are retained so we can contact you when a relevant role opens. We do not use your information for any other purpose, and we do not send marketing email.

4. Consent, and how to withdraw it

You give consent by ticking the consent box before submitting a form. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to [email protected]. We will stop using your information and delete it, except where we are required by law to retain a record. Withdrawal takes effect within thirty days of our receiving the request.

5. What not to send us

Do not submit classified, controlled, export-restricted or otherwise sensitive operational information through any form on this site. These forms are ordinary web forms and are not an approved channel for such material. Send only unclassified, releasable details. If a discussion requires a protected channel, request a briefing and we will arrange one.

If controlled or classified information is received through this site in error, we will handle it in accordance with our obligations under the Controlled Goods Program and applicable security requirements, and will contact you where appropriate.

6. Where your information is processed

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, operated by Cloudflare, Inc. (United States). Messages submitted through the enquiry and careers forms are transmitted by Resend, operated by Resend, Inc. (United States), and delivered to a Kanatir Kinetics mailbox hosted by Zoho Corporation on its Canadian cloud infrastructure. Information handled by our United States providers is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its courts, law enforcement and national security authorities.

We require service providers to protect personal information to a standard comparable to this policy, under contract. This section is updated whenever a provider changes.

7. Disclosure

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We disclose it only to service providers acting on our behalf under contract, and where required by law or by a valid order of a court or regulator.

8. How long we keep it

Enquiry records and career expressions of interest are retained for twenty-four months from the date of your last contact with us, then deleted. Records may be kept longer only where a legal, contractual or security obligation requires it, and only for as long as that obligation lasts.

9. How we protect it

We limit access to personal information to those who need it to respond to you. Information is held in access-controlled accounts protected by strong authentication, transmitted over encrypted connections, and deleted on the schedule set out above. We review these measures periodically. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

10. Accuracy

We keep personal information only as accurate and current as is necessary for the purpose it was collected. You may ask us to correct anything that is wrong.

11. Your rights

You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to give you access to it, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to [email protected]. We will respond within thirty days. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

If you are located in Quebec, you also have the right to receive the personal information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used technological format, and the right to request that we cease disseminating it. These rights are available to you under Quebec's Law 25.

12. Breaches

If a breach of security safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as soon as feasible, and we will keep a record of the incident.

13. If you are not satisfied

Raise it with us first, at [email protected]. We will investigate and respond in writing.

If you remain unsatisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca. If you are located in Quebec, you may complain to the Commission d'acces a l'information du Quebec at cai.gouv.qc.ca.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. Material changes affecting how we handle information already collected will be communicated to affected individuals where we are able to reach them.
