Kanatir Kinetics designs uncrewed aircraft and the mission software that runs on them. The work is engineering that has to survive contact with real hardware, real power, real timing and real field conditions, and be documented well enough that someone can check it.

ML and Signal Processing Engineer
Evidential fusion across sensing modalities, and the diagnostic work when a detection path underperforms.
Evidential fusion across heterogeneous sensor modalities, using methods that preserve uncertainty and inter-source disagreement rather than collapsing them into one confidence number.
A significant part of the role is diagnostic. When a detection path underperforms, determining whether the cause is information loss in feature representation, detector policy, threshold selection, or some combination, and correcting the actual cause rather than the convenient one. You would also characterise a new sensing modality's derived features for stability and discriminating value, and report honestly when a modality does not earn its place.
What we need
- Applied signal processing across more than one sensing modality.
- Practical familiarity with evidential or probabilistic fusion. Dempster-Shafer experience is a direct hit, though rigour matters more than the specific framework.
- Anomaly detection under non-stationary conditions, and an understanding of why naive adaptive baselines fail.
- Evaluation discipline: disjoint data, and no tuning to force a pass.
What this is not
Not a model-training role where the goal is a leaderboard number. The goal is a defensible measurement, including when the measurement disappoints.
